Meals on Wheels and Early Childhood programs of NMCAA were thrilled to be chosen as the Serra Subaru 2022 Hometown Charity!

Why does Subaru support Meals on Wheels? Too many seniors are struggling to stay independent and healthy. One in four seniors lives alone in isolation and one in seven seniors might not know from where their next meal is coming. This is simply unacceptable, which is why Meals on Wheels of NMCAA provides the nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks to the seniors of Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Missaukee, and Wexford counties. This vital support keeps seniors in their own homes, where they want to be.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKED

For every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased, from November 17, 2022 through January 3, 2023, Serra Subaru of Traverse City donated $50 to NMCAA Early Childhood Development & Meals on Wheels along with Subaru donating an additional $250. Plus, with each purchase or lease, customers received an exclusive hand-drawn keychain courtesy of NMCAA. Additionally, Subaru donated $5 to NMCAA for every Subaru vehicle routine service visit.
